Home sellers have the luxury of choosing from many different options to try and
get their home sold. Sellers should explore and be aware of these options. This
allows them to base their decisions off their wants and needs, along with any circumstances
they may be dealing with. Achieving the desired results may even require using a
combination of what is available. Common ways of selling a home include selling
with a Realtor®, selling to an investor, and selling a home by owner.

Selling With A Realtor®
One of the most popular means to sell a home is with a Realtor®.
Realtors® provide
numerous benefits. Help with understanding and completing contracts, finding home
values, optimal marketing, negotiating, representation, and direction are just a touch
of what a Realtor® provides. This helps explain why Realtors® are valuable
assets and can
help make selling a home a much easier and successful process. If you would like
to get started working with a Realtor®, complete the Sell A Home Form.
Selling To An Investor
Investors typically work with a seller who is ready to sell their home right away.
Investors can usually close very fast and with cash. For an investor to be able
to complete a deal, they need one of two things, a specific price or special terms.
Selling To An Investor Based on Price
If the investor purchases the home based on price, they will typically offer a lower
price for the home. Investors face great risk themselves when purchasing homes.
Along with the risk, investors may factor in needed repairs, acquisition costs,
holding costs, closing costs, selling expenses, profit requirements, and unexpected
expenses.
Selling To An Investor Based on Terms
If the investor purchases on terms, they could potentially try and lease purchase the home from the seller.
The investor would likely then try and find another buyer for the home or someone who could rent, buy, or lease purchase the home.
Investors can be a great alternative for motivated sellers. An important difference
is while some real estate agents are investors, many are not. An investor that is
not an agent or any other type of real estate licensed professional acts on their
own and may not work in the best interest of the seller. The seller needs to be
aware of what they are doing and what is happening when working with the investor.
A good investor works to create a realistic win / win deal with the seller. If you would like
to get started working with an investor, complete the Sell A Home Form.
Foreclosure Assistance
If you are currently in foreclosure, depending on your situation, the foreclosure process
can be stopped. Realtors, investors, and other solution providers may be able to
help. A potential resolution begins by completing the Sell A Home Form.
For Sale By Owner
Selling your home without an agent is another means to sell a home.
For Sale By
Owner companies provide some assistant to sellers. This can be a good alternative
for sellers who are more into the "hands on" approach as a Realtor® will not be
assisting in selling the home. Click the For Sale By Owner logo below to get started with For Sale By Owner services.
MLS Listing (Multiple Listing Service)
MLS Listing allows sellers to list their home on the MLS by paying a fee. My Real
Estate Home Solutions does not currently assist with only providing MLS Listing
assistance. When working with a Realtor®, your home will likely be listed on the MLS.
